And finally, our planet's 🌏 most unusual feature is...us 👩🏽🐈🦔! Nowhere else in the universe that we've looked so far have we found life. From deep below the oceans 🦞 and into the skies 🦅, Earth is teeming with living creatures.

Water 💧 exists on Earth in a variety of forms -- fresh and salty, as a liquid, solid ice ❄️ and gaseous water vapor. It moves through the atmosphere 🌧, the oceans 🌊 and even below the ground.

Our planet 🌍 is protected from space by a delicate atmosphere, a thin collection of gases and charged particles. Our atmosphere protects us from the Sun's ☀️ harmful radiation, while trapping some of its heat ♨️

Looking 🔭 into space, NASA has seen some highly unusual things: Oceans 🌊 of lava, planets with no star ⭐️, worlds with flowing glaciers of nitrogen ice ❄️. But somehow, none of it matches the strangeness of our home planet 🌏

Our satellites captured this eruption from Europe’s most active volcano 🌋. In 2018, Mt. Etna spewed hot ash 💨 from a fissure that cloaked adjacent villages & disrupted nearby air travel.
